1 Jan 2008 - HAPPY 2008

Happy new year all!

 

Firstly have you received your Newsletter and attached forms in the post?  The post can be slow at this time of year but you should have received it by now.  It contained the Membership Renewal Form which is vital for renewed subscriptions (as subscription amounts have risen).  If you have not recieved this please let us know ASAP. 

 

 

 

Hopefully we have a new boathouse to look forward to at the end of the year providing that construction goes to plan.  Also the site will be updated soon hopefully to list future events.  Our nearest event so far is the Valentine Evening at the Phoenix Hotel North Brink, Wisbech, Saturday 16th February at 7.30 PM .  This event is stated in our first and currently only newsletter found at the top of the News Pg. 

 

 

 

We now have forums for club communication.  This will enable members to chat with each other on the net, organise private events (ie sailing somewhere), ask questions/advice about boating, etc…  Also we have a EWASH which allows our members to post items they want to sell/buy, and I will place a link to the main site with a brief description.  To do this however please register in our forums so that I can grant you access.  If you have any problems with registration or you do not receive access rights within a couple of days please email me (chriswillpearce@aol.com).

 

 

 

 

In the future there will possibly be an archive page containing old news, which will contain 2007’s main/or all news items.  If you have any suggestions for the site or see any errors please let me know.

 

Anyway, hopefully 2008 is a great and successful year for the boat club and to you.
