This page is here to briefly explain how to use the forums and show the main rules. Please register if you are a Yacht club member and wish to use this service. Non members can also register however they will be given limited access to 3 of our forums.
Please note: The Webmaster may ask when you register if you are a club member or registered guest. Therefore this process may take a day or two until access is granted to you. The table below marked "access rights" will explain who has access to which forum.
These forums are controlled and moderated by the WYC committee members. Each forum has a topic "rules" which will specify what the rules are for that forum. In general though as this is considered a family friendly site, therefore can anyone posting messages please act civil and refrain from using bad/offensive language. Anyone abusing this may be permanently banned if they are not careful and moderators have the right to intervene in this. Also please keep EWASH related topics in the EWASH forums and general questions in either Questions/Members Only forums.
The EWASH Wanted and For Sale forums are for posting items people want to sell/buy. More specific info on EWASH here.
There is a Questions forum where non-members and members can ask questions about the club, joining, the site etc...
Finally there is a Members Only forum whereby members can use this for pretty much anything they want in regards to the club. For example arranging a fishing trip with each other or just general chat. This forum will not be viewable to anyone who is not logged in.
These forums allow members/registered users to send private messages to each other, you can even send emails to each other if you enable this.
